The brief

Kidderminster secured a 3-0 victory over League One side Doncaster, while Exeter and Blackpool also advanced in FA Cup action.

The story

National League side Kidderminster advanced to the second round of the FA Cup following a 3-0 victory against League One team Doncaster. The opening goal arrived in the 22nd minute when Maz Kouhyar delivered a pass to Lewis Walker, who converted at the second attempt after hitting the upright.

Kidderminster extended their advantage in the 36th minute after Walker advanced up the field and set up Kouhyar, who scored from close range. Doncaster appealed unsuccessfully for a penalty when Alfie May fell inside the area following a pass from Jordan Thomas.

The scoreline shifted to 3-0 shortly before halftime when David Davis scored from a rebound after goalkeeper Josh Clarke parried an initial shot from Kouhyar. Kidderminster manager Paul Wotton described the fixture as a positive occasion for the club and supporters.

Meanwhile, Blackpool secured a 2-1 comeback victory against Hornchurch at the Hornchurch Stadium after an extra-time goal from substitute Josh Bowler in the 118th minute. Hornchurch had taken a first-half lead through Henry Hearn before Jordan Brown equalised for Blackpool in the 55th minute.
