The full report
The Wallaroos have secured an eight-try rout of Scotland in a WXV match at Accor Stadium in Sydney. The match saw Australia score 56 points to Scotland's 12.
Desiree Miller made history by becoming the first Wallaroo to score 20 Test tries. She achieved this feat with her opening try, which was one of eight tries scored by the Wallaroos.
Samantha Wood, the scrum-half, played a crucial role in the match, pulling the strings and kicking well. Amelia Whitaker, a winger from Randwick, scored her maiden try, while Maya Stewart crossed the line after returning from an Achilles injury.
The Wallaroos' victory was their first Test on home soil since April and followed their 30-10 win over Scotland in Edinburgh last month. The teams will play again in Canberra on Friday.
Scotland scored first, with Katie Buchanan creating a 5-0 lead. However, the Wallaroos soon settled and found joy with a try to hooker Brittany Merlo, which opened up the Scottish defences.
The Wallaroos then picked apart the Scottish defences with five more tries inside the next 30 minutes of play. Scotland eventually fired a shot through Rachel Malcolm, but the Wallaroos continued to dominate, with Eva Karpani capping the day with a rampaging try.
